Self-powered Door Open/Close Detection Sensor
A power-free door sensor that sends a signal from the force of the door opening and closing
It converts the kinetic energy produced when a door opens and closes into electricity and sends a signal distinguishing open from closed. Depending on the mounting and operating method, it comes in Built-in (recessed), Add-on (surface-mounted) and Lever types.
- PowerSelf-powered (no battery)
- Dust · water protectionIP57
- Transmission rangeapprox. 100 m (open field)
- Durability100,000-cycle operation test
- Inactivity detection24 · 48 · 72 hours (Sensor Hub)
01How it works
- Door opens / closes
When the door opens or closes, this is transferred to the sensing element.
- Self-powered generation
Kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy.
- Open · closed signal
The status is distinguished and sent as an RF signal.
- PC · text alerts
Open / close history monitoring and text message alerts
02Features
Installation is complete once it is attached where you want it.
A compact module handles sliding and swing doors, windows, drawers and even vehicle doors.
Also used on outdoor entrances.
More than 100,000 operations and signal transmissions verified with a durability tester.
Used for access records at unmanned facilities and inactivity detection.
03Types
Recessed inside the locking device to detect when the door closes or opens. Used on sliding and swing doors and valuables drawers.
Attached to the outside of the door to detect the opening and closing of swing doors.
Installed inside the door, it detects the opening and closing of various doors through lever action. The lever bridges the gap at the door edge.
We also hold patents for a Slide type inserted in the seat belt buckle to detect clip insertion (vehicle seat belt fastening detection) and for vehicle door open/close detection.

09FAQ
QWhich type should we choose?
Built-in type if it can go inside the locking device, Add-on type if it is attached to the outside of the door, and Lever type if the door gap is uneven. Send us a photo of the door and we will choose for you.
QWill it alert us if a door has not opened for a long time?
If the door sensor is registered as an activity detection sensor on the Sensor Hub, a text message is sent to the registered numbers when there has been no operation for 24 · 48 · 72 hours.
QCan it be used on switchboard doors?
It is applied to GIS substation PLC panel doors and extra-high-voltage switchgear doors to raise an alarm if a live equipment panel is opened during outage work.
