Wireless Call Platform

A system in which the Single-window Monitor sends wireless call bell signals to PLC equipment via RS485 for control

01Why it is needed

At Company C's large logistics center, robots sort goods automatically.

Wireless call bells were needed to summon the logistics robots controlled by the PLC control panel, and self-powered call bells were chosen for easy installation and maintenance.

  • Numbers of multiple call bells displayed
  • Up to 224 call bells registered, unique IDs with no radio interference
  • Registered bell number sent via RS485 immediately on call

04Case studies

Robot calls at Company C's automated logistics center

In phase 1, the loading-station robot control system was pilot-tested and verified; in phase 2, it was expanded to all sections of the logistics center, and wireless robot calls across all sections were confirmed using relays. A call bell is mounted at each chute on site, and pressing it brings a robot.
